How the subscription model works

Subscribers pay a flat monthly or yearly fee (e.g. $38/month or $360/year) for unlimited access to most assets on smotrowrelated.com. Instead of paying per item, customers unlock everything through one subscription — including your products if you choose to include them.

Here’s how it works step by step:

1. We calculate total monthly subscription revenue We take the total net revenue from all subscription payments for the month (after processing fees, taxes, etc.).
2. We allocate a fixed % of that revenue to the Creator Pool A significant portion of subscription revenue (e.g. 60%) is reserved each month to be distributed among creators.
3. We track downloads of your assets Every time a subscriber downloads one of your products, it counts toward your share of that pool. Multiple downloads = more value = more earnings.
4. Your payout is based on your share of total downloads If your assets make up 3% of all downloads that month, you receive 3% of the creator pool. It’s that simple.

Example:

• Total net subscription revenue in July = $100,000
• Creator Pool (60%) = $60,000
• Total valid downloads across all creators = 50,000
• Your assets were downloaded = 1,500 times

➡️ Your share:

1,500 / 50,000 = 3%

3% of $60,000 = $1,800 earned

Why this model works

• Fair: You’re paid based on your real impact — the more your work is used, the more you earn
• Scalable: As the number of subscribers grows, the revenue pool grows too
• Flexible: You choose which products participate in the subscription model

What counts as a valid download?

Only downloads from active, paying subscribers are counted toward revenue.

We do not count:

• Free users or trial users (if applicable)
• Repeated downloads of the same asset by the same subscriber (within a set time period)

Can I sell outside of the subscription too?

Yes! You’re always in control. For each product, you can choose to:

• ✅ Include it in the subscription
• ✅ Sell it separately

Some creators keep certain premium assets for direct sale only — others include everything in the subscription. It’s up to you.

When do I get paid?

• Monthly payouts, typically processed within the first 10 days of each month
• You’ll receive a detailed earnings report with your downloads, % share, and payout breakdown
• Payments are made via PayPal, Wise, or your preferred method

How to earn more

• Upload consistently
• Create assets people actually need (mockups, UI kits, presentations, etc.)
• Use great thumbnails and clear titles
• Enable your products for subscription access
• Promote your Smotrow Related store on social media and Behance
